About Mission Possible

We believe it's possible to get to an America where citizens once again trust our institutions and each other, and solve our problems cooperatively to advance freedom and opportunity for all.

Mission Possible was created to address a serious challenge: a political and civic culture that too often treats disagreement as conflict and fellow citizens as opponents. Over time, our systems have evolved to reward division rather than collaboration, making it harder for communities to solve problems and for people to trust one another and the institutions that serve them.

Yet we see tremendous reason for optimism. Across the ideological spectrum, Americans are hungry for a better way forward. People want leaders who can work together, communities that can bridge differences, and systems that encourage cooperation instead of conflict. The desire for a healthier democracy is widespread—and growing.

Mission Possible exists to help turn that desire into action. Working city by city and state by state, we will help citizens, community leaders, and policymakers strengthen trust, improve civic culture, and advance important reforms. 

Our goal: solving our shared challenges together and restoring confidence in one another and our public institutions.
